Day 1: Cape Town

Frequently voted as one of the world’s top travel destinations, Cape Town is a stunningly beautiful city on the southwestern tip of the African continent. With a diverse array of sights and attractions, there’s something for everyone in the Mother City, as Cape Town locals call their hometown. From the gorgeous white sand beaches that hug the city’s mountainous coastline to the vibrant shopping mecca at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, your time in Cape Town will undoubtedly leave you with countless fond memories.

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Afternoon City & Table Mountain Tour

Once settled into your hotel, your first day in Cape Town will include a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting), the iconic peak that towers above Cape Town city centre and that was recently named one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Atop the impressive natural formation you will enjoy unparalleled views of Cape Town, Table and False Bays, Robben Island and with good visibility the entire Cape Peninsula all the way to Cape Point. The rest of your day will be spent exploring the many attractions and points of interest to be found in and around Cape Town’s city centre, including Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope, the South African Museum and the vibrant market at Greenmarket Square, where you will be able to find a treasure trove of African arts, crafts and souvenirs.

Day 2: Cape Town

Full Day Cape Point Tour

Your next day in Cape Town will see you making the journey along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay towards the quaint fishing harbour town of Hout Bay. Here you will enjoy gorgeous mountain and ocean views and a boat trip to see the Cape Fur Seal colony at Seal Island (weather permitting).

From Hout Bay you will travel along Chapman’s Peak drive, arguably one of the world’s most breathtakingly beautiful coastal drives, towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a magnificent section of the Table Mountain National Park that boasts an impressive array of flora and fauna, including the unique and endemic fynbos floral kingdom as well as large numbers of animal and bird species. No trip to Cape Point would be complete without visiting the historic lighthouses that are perched on the tip of the Cape Peninsula, offering awe-inspiring vistas.

After lunch at a nearby restaurant in Simon’s Town, you will visit the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 3 – 4: Cape Town

You will have these days to enjoy at your leisure or book additional tours such as Winelands Tour, White Shark Cage Diving, Helicopter Tour and many more.

Day 5: Cape Town – Kruger National Park

You will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport to catch your flight to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport from where a short transfer will bring you to the lodge of your choice in the Kruger National Park:

Arguably the most renowned national park and game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park offers its visitors unparalleled opportunities to experience the majestic beauty of Africa’s flora and fauna. Covering almost 20 000 KM, the Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves not only in South Africa, but on the entire African continent. With extraordinary biodiversity and so much to offer guests and travelers, your time spent at Kruger will surely leave you with incredible memories and stories to take back home.

Imbali Safari Lodge or Hoyo Hoyo Lodge

Accommodation is on a Full Board Basis + Lodge activities.

Once settled into your lodge accommodation, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, accompanied by qualified and trained guides and game rangers. You will no doubt encounter some of the following mighty park residents: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo and many more.

Day 6: Kruger National Park

You will have the day to enjoy the authentic African bush and safari experience at Kruger National Park. Morning and afternoon game drives are highly recommended, and will be accompanied by expert guides, rangers and trackers, making sure your wildlife adventures in Africa not only live up to your expectations, but greatly exceed them.

Day 7: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg

Enjoy one last morning game drive, taking the opportunity to say goodbye to the beautiful African bushveld and its wild inhabitants.

You will then be transferred to Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport for your flight to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa who who will then accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Day 8: Johannesburg – Sun City Resort

Lesedi Cultural Village Tour

Situated about an hour drive from Johannesburg, Lesedi Cultural Village presents visitors with a fascinating look into the diverse cultures of the South African people. This must-see Jo’burg attraction allows you to visit and experience the traditions of five South African tribal groups, namely the Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, Ndebele and Pedi people. By discovering their traditional ways of life, including ancestral customs, rites of passage and folklore, you will leave Lesedi Cultual Village enriched with a genuine insight into the ways of life of the South African people.

Rounding off your cultural excursion, a sumptuous buffet of traditional South African fare will be served.

After lunch you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice at the world-famous Sun City Resort:

Built by the renowned hotelier Sol Kerzner, Sun City is a massive resort complex comprised of world-class luxury hotels, glitzy casinos, gourmet restaurants and eateries and impressive sporting and recreational facilities, including 2 world-class golf courses and the extraordinary Valley of the Waves waterpark.

The Palace Hotel ***** or Soho Sun City Hotel ****

Accommodation is on a Bed & Breakfast Basis.

You will have the afternoon to explore Sun City at your leisure.

Day 9: Sun City Resort

You will have the day to enjoy Sun City at your leisure or alternatively book additional tours such as: Hot air Ballooning, Archery,  Interactive African Drumming, Crocodile Sanctuary and many more.
