BOTSWANA CHOBE NATIONAL PARK

Chobe National Park is in the Northern part of Botswana and sits along the exquisite Chobe River. It’s the second largest park in Botswana and is well-known for superb safari tours – all year ‘round! That’s because it’s home to one of the largest populations of game on the African continent. Chobe, also known as The Land of The Giants, is best known for its impressive Elephant herds; in fact, it supports the largest concentration of Elephant found anywhere in Africa. You’ll also find high densities of predators including Lion, Leopard, Spotted Hyena and Cheetah. Along with Buffalo, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Warthog, Wildebeest and Impala, the park also plays host to more unusual antelope like Roan and Sable, Puku, Tsessebe, Eland, Red Lechwe, Waterbuck, and the rare Chobe Bushbuck.

Chobe National Park is close to the borders of Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia; making this a popular and easy day-trip destination for visitors from Victoria Falls, as well as for those on tours throughout the wider region of southern Africa. South With one of our exciting tour packages, a Chobe visit can be conveniently combined with a number of Botswana’s (and the wider region’s) unmissable safari gems, including the Okavango Delta. The town of Kasane on the border of Chobe National Park has a small international airport, welcoming visitors from abroad.
