Day 1: Cape Town

Frequently voted as one of the world’s top travel destinations, Cape Town is a stunningly beautiful city on the southwestern tip of the African continent. With a diverse array of sights and attractions, there’s something for everyone in the Mother City, as Cape Town locals call their hometown. From the gorgeous white sand beaches that hug the city’s mountainous coastline to the vibrant shopping mecca at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, your time in Cape Town will undoubtedly leave you with countless fond memories.

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Afternoon City and Table Mountain Tour

Once settled into your hotel, your first day in Cape Town will include a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting), the iconic peak that towers above Cape Town city centre and that was recently named one of the New 7Wonders of Nature. Atop the impressive natural formation you will enjoy unparalleled views of Cape Town, Table and False Bays, Robben Island and with good visibility the entire Cape Peninsula all the way to Cape Point. The rest of your day will be spent exploring the many attractions and points of interest to be found in and around Cape Town’s city centre, including Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope, the South African Museum and the vibrant market at Greenmarket Square, where you will be able to find a treasure trove of African arts, crafts and souvenirs.

Day 2: Cape Town

Full Day Cape Point Tour

Your next day in Cape Town will see you making the journey along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay towards the quaint fishing harbour town of Hout Bay. Here you will enjoy gorgeous mountain and ocean views and a boat trip to see the Cape Fur Seal colony at Seal Island (weather permitting).

From Hout Bay you will travel along Chapman’s Peak drive, arguably one of the world’s most breathtakingly beautiful coastal drives, towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a magnificent section of the Table Mountain National Park that boasts an impressive array of flora and fauna, including the unique and endemic fynbos floral kingdom as well as large numbers of animal and bird species. No trip to Cape Point would be complete without visiting the historic lighthouses that are perched on the tip of the Cape Peninsula, offering awe-inspiring vistas.

After lunch at a nearby restaurant in Simon’s Town, you will visit the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 3: Cape Town

You will have the day to enjoy at your leisure or book additional tours such as Winelands, White shark cage diving, Helicopter rides and many more.

Day 4: Cape Town – Sun City

You will be transferred to the airport in Cape Town for your flight to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport.

Built by the renowned hotelier Sol Kerzner, Sun City is a massive resort complex comprised of world-class luxury hotels, glitzy casinos, gourmet restaurants and eateries and impressive sporting and recreational facilities, including 2 world-class golf courses and the extraordinary Valley of the Waves waterpark.

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa who will accompany you to the hotel of your choice at the world famous Sun City Resort, about 2 ½ hours’ drive from Johannesburg.

You will have the afternoon and evening to enjoy and explore Sun City resort at your leisure.

Day 5: Safari at Pilanesberg National Park (Morning or Afternoon)

Enjoy an exciting African safari package at Pilanesberg National Park, a Big 5 game reserve lying adjacent to the vast Sun City resort complex. Covering about 580KMof South African wilderness and boasting an impressive display of biodiversity, the park affords visitors with ample opportunities to enjoy the sights and sounds of the South African bushveld.

Day 6: Sun City – Johannesburg

Transfer to Johannesburg via Lesedi Cultural Village.

Lesedi Cultural Village

Situated about an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, Lesedi Cultural Village presents visitors with a fascinating look into the diverse cultures of the South African people. This must-see Jo’burg attraction allows you to visit and experience the traditions of five South African tribal groups, namely the Zulu, Xhosa, Basotho, Ndebele and Pedi people. By discovering their traditional ways of life, including ancestral customs, rites of passage and folklore, you will leave Lesedi Cultual Village enriched with a genuine insight into the ways of life of the South African people.

Rounding off your cultural excursion, a sumptuous buffet of traditional South African fare will be served.

After the tour you will be transferred to the hotel of your choice in Johannesburg:

Day 7:

You will have the day to spend at your leisure or alternatively you can book an additional tour, such as: Lion Park, Johannesburg City Tour, Pretoria City Tour and many more.

Day 8: Johannesburg – Victoria Falls (Livingstone, Zambia)

You will be transferred to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport for your flight to Livingstone, Zambia.

Upon your arrival you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa who will escort you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Afternoon Sunset Cruise on The Zambezi River

Once settled in o your hotel, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy some sundowners and snacks on a while cruising along the Zambezi River at sunset. Don’t forget to bring your camera as you’ll definitely want to capture the last magnificent rays of the setting African sun over the Zambezi River. You may even be fortunate enough to see some local wildlife along the banks of the Zambezi; look out for crocodiles, hippos, elephants and many more animal and bird species.

Day 9: Victoria Falls (Livingstone, Zambia)

Morning Tour of The Victoria Falls

The Victoria Falls (or Mosi-oa-Tunya: the Smoke that Thunders as locals call it) is considered the largest waterfall in the world and has been deemed a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This awe-inspiring wonder of the natural world is a truly spectacular sight to behold, and with so much to offer tourists and visitors (think river rafting, bungee jumping, river cruises, and game spotting and so much more) you’ll undoubtedly leave with incredible memories and stories to take home.

After an official tour of the falls, you will have the afternoon to explore the falls at your leisure or book an additional tour, such as: Livingstone Island, Helicopter, Microlight rides, Bungee Jumping and many more.

Day 10: Livingstone – Chobe National Park (Botswana)

Full Day Chobe Day Trip

You will have an early morning departure from Livingstone for a day trip to the world famous Chobe National Park, where you will enjoy a full-day African safari package, which includes a boat cruise along the Chobe River, as well as a game drive through the park.

Being only an hour drive from the Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park is an ideal destination for anyone wanting to experience the raw beauty of the African wilderness. Famous for its dense populations of elephants and lions, you will no doubt have many incredible encounters with a diverse range of animal and bird species, at all times accompanied by qualified and trained guides and game rangers.

Day 11: Livingstone – Johannesburg

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Livingstone airport to catch your flight to Johannesburg to make your connection for your outbound flight home.
