Day 1: Cape Town

Frequently voted as one of the world’s top travel destinations, Cape Town is a stunningly beautiful city on the southwestern tip of the African continent. With a diverse array of sights and attractions, there’s something for everyone in the Mother City, as Cape Town locals call their hometown. From the gorgeous white sand beaches that hug the city’s mountainous coastline to the vibrant shopping mecca at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, your time in Cape Town will undoubtedly leave you with countless fond memories.

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Afternoon City & Table Mountain Tour

Once settled into your hotel, your first day in Cape Town will include a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting), the iconic peak that towers above Cape Town city centre and that was recently named one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Atop the impressive natural formation you will enjoy unparalleled views of Cape Town, Table and False Bays, Robben Island and with good visibility the entire Cape Peninsula all the way to Cape Point. The rest of your day will be spent exploring the many attractions and points of interest to be found in and around Cape Town’s city centre, including Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope, the South African Museum and the vibrant market at Greenmarket Square, where you will be able to find a treasure trove of African arts, crafts and souvenirs.

Day 2: Cape Town

Full Day Cape Point Tour

Your next day in Cape Town will see you making the journey along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay towards the quaint fishing harbour town of Hout Bay. Here you will enjoy gorgeous mountain and ocean views and a boat trip to see the Cape Fur Seal colony at Seal Island (weather permitting).

From Hout Bay you will travel along Chapman’s Peak drive, arguably one of the world’s most breathtakingly beautiful coastal drives, towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a magnificent section of the Table Mountain National Park that boasts an impressive array of flora and fauna, including the unique and endemic fynbos floral kingdom as well as large numbers of animal and bird species. No trip to Cape Point would be complete without visiting the historic lighthouses that are perched on the tip of the Cape Peninsula, offering awe-inspiring vistas.

After lunch at a nearby restaurant in Simon’s Town, you will visit the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 3-4: Cape Town

You will have these days to enjoy at your leisure or alternatively book additional tours such as: Winelands Tour, White Shark Cage Diving, Helicopter Tour and many more.

Day 5: Cape Town – Okavango Delta (Botswana)

You will have a transfer to Cape Town’s International Airport to catch your flight to Maun, Botswana.

Upon your arrival in Maun you will be met by an official lodge representative who will assist where necessary as you check in for your scheduled light aircraft flight to the Okavango Delta.

A massive inland delta that’s formed by the Okavango River, the delta is one of Botswana’s most popular attractions. Teeming with all manner of African wildlife, the Okavango Delta is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. With a veritable maze of twisting waterways and lagoons, exploring the delta (whether on foot, by 4 x4 game drive, in a modern motorboat or even a traditional mokoro) will be one of the highlights of your African adventures.

Upon arrival in the Okavango, you will be transferred to the renowned Moremi Game Reserve where you will stay at

Enjoy an afternoon of lodge activities including game drives throughout the vast ecosystems that make up the Moremi Game Reserve.

Day 6: Okavango Delta  (Botswana)

You will have the day to enjoy at your leisure and experience some of the incredible lodge activities on offer. Morning and afternoon game drives are highly recommended as are exploring the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounds by boat, or if you prefer by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe).

Day 7: Okavango Delta (Botswana)

After a delicious breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight to another part of the Okavango Delta where you will enjoy relaxing accommodation at

You will have the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure and experience some of the lodge activities on offer. All activities and excursions are conducted and accompanied by a qualified and trained guide who will navigate your African adventure through some of the continent’s most well preserved and pristine natural regions.

Day 8: Okavango Delta (Botswana)

You will have the morning and afternoon to enjoy at your leisure and experience some of the lodge activities on offer. All activities and excursions are conducted and accompanied by a qualified and trained guide who will navigate your African adventure through some of the continent’s most well preserved and pristine natural regions.

Day 9: Okavango Delta (Botswana) – Johannesburg           

Enjoy one last morning in the African bushveld with a final lodge activity. After your game drive you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Maun where you will catch your connection to Johannesburg.

The largest city in South Africa, Johannesburg offers its visitors a truly African city adventure. With a rich cultural, economic and political history, Jo’burg or Jozi (as you’re sure to hear locals call it) has something to delight every traveller. Fascinating cultural encounters, a buzzing nightlife and restaurant scene and some of the best shopping on African soil are just some of the experiences you’re bound to enjoy while discovering this powerhouse of African economic centres.

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Day 10: Johannesburg – Pretoria

Half Day Pretoria City Tour

Explore South Africa’s historic capital city, Pretoria on a half-day tour. Highlights of the excursion through Pretoria include the impressive Voortrekker Monument, the historic Kruger House and Church Square, as well as the architecturally inspiring Union Buildings, along with its beautiful gardens.

You will have the afternoon to enjoy at your leisure or alternatively book additional tours such as: Lion Park Tour, Johannesburg City Tour, and Dinner at Carnivore restaurant and many more.

Day 11: Johannesburg

You will have the afternoon to spend at your leisure or alternatively you can book an additional toursuch as:

Lion Park Tour, Johannesburg City Tour, or just last moment shopping and many more.

You will have a transfer to OR Tambo International Airport to catch your outbound flight home
