The trip passes the pristine beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay with their soft white sand and exquisite blue waters. The majestic 12 Apostles Peaks rise above the road on one side and sheer cliffs and incredible rock formations drop into the icy Atlantic Ocean on the other side; making for incredible photographic opportunities and a feast for traveler’s eyes.
The Cape Point Tour makes a stop at the quaint fishing village of Hout Bay where guests are invited to tour the Seal Island or shop for souvenirs at the craft market at the harbor.
The Cape Point Tour then continues over Chapman’s Peak which offers unmatched views, and then onto the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. This area is home to magnificent ‘fynbos’, many different species of South African buck and birds, the Cape Mountain Zebra, and mischievous baboons. The funicular goes up to the lighthouse for an even better vantage point.
