Hot Air Ballooning Winelands – This trip takes guests on a tour of the exquisite Cape Winelands with its brilliant colours, craggy mountains and manicured vineyards.
Fly over the incredible the Berg River Valley, not far from Paarl. Paarl itself is a small town 40 minute drive from Cape Town and is famous for its reputation as one of South Africa’s premier wine growing areas.
The flight lasts around an hour as you float high above land, sometimes tickling the treetops. The scenery makes for perfect photographic opportunities and an unforgettable holiday experience. After the balloon ride, guests are transferred by road to Paarl where a full hot breakfast awaits at the Grande Roche Hotel before a trip back your hotel.
The Winelands Ballooning experience operates between 20 November and 30 April, and is closed between May and 19 November due to the unreliable weather conditions in the Cape over this period.
