Johannesburg, affectionately known as Jozi, is South Africa’s largest city. Home to the biggest urban man-made forest in the world, this impressive metropolis contains many legendary places marking the country’s radical political and social history and transformation.

This tour begins with a trip to Constitutional Hill; an architectural marvel and home to the Constitutional Court and site of Johannesburg’s Old Fort Prison. The tour continues on to Johannesburg’s cultural hub, Maboneng Precinct. Here guests are treated to limitless options for authentically African meals and a lively strip lined with art and entertainment venues. There are a plethora of retail stores offering beautiful locally made garments. The suburb is a wonderful example of urban regeneration of the eastside of the Johannesburg CBD.

The tour stops in at Museum Africa, Johannesburg’s premier cultural history museum. Reminiscent of a 1950’s Shebeen, this amazing cultural experience gives a great sense of the soul of the inner city. The tour closes off with a trip back to the market suburb of lower Houghton.

This tour can be conducted on private or schedule basis.    Min 2 pax
