Day 1: Nairobi (Kenya) – Masai Mara National Park

Famed for the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle the Masai Mara National Park also provides sanctuary for a host of other awesome African bird and animal species, including, lion, elephant, leopard and cheetah.

Upon your arrival in Nairobi you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa who will accompany you on your transfer to Wilson Airport from where you will catch a flight to Masai Mara where you will enjoy accommodation at:

Bateleur Camp

Accommodation is on Full Board Basis & Lodge activities.

Once settled into your accommodation, you will depart on a game drive through the park, taking in the untouched African wilderness that makes up the Masai Mara.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Park

Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

You will have the day to enjoy at your leisure taking advantage of the morning and afternoon lodge activities on offer. Venturing on a safari through the park is an absolute must of course, but if you’d like a slight change of pace (and altitude) why not take a much recommended hot air balloon safari gliding across the magnificent landscape. Don’t forget to bring your camera along. You’ll want to snap lots of photos!

Day 3: Masai Mara – Serengeti (Tanzania)

Enjoy one final morning game drive through the Masai Mara, before departing on your transfer to the airstrip for a scheduled flight to your camp in Serengeti (Tanzania):

Possibly Africa’s most famous of Africa’s national parks, the Serengeti National Park is both a world heritage site and home to the world renowned migration of hundreds of thousands of plain-dwelling herbivores, most notably the great wildebeest migration so popularly covered in literature, and media.

Accommodation at Klein’s Camp is on Full Board Basis & Lodge activities.

Upon your arrival you will be shown to your accommodation. Once settled you will be taken on an epic African safari game drive through the impressive and mighty Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti

You will have the day to enjoy at your leisure and take advantage of the various lodge activities, including exciting early morning game drives, night game drives (where you will encounter the nocturnal activities of the park’s residents) and an experience encountering the fascinating culture of the local Maasai.

Day 5: Serengeti – Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park is a stunning Tanzanian national park, typically African in its nature and landscape. Offering excellent opportunities to experience the majesty of the African wilderness, the Lake Manyara region is home to a diverse range of bird and animal species, most notably, flamingos, elephants and lions (famed for their tree-climbing antics)

Enjoy a final morning game drive before departing for the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara where you will stay at:

Lake Manyara Tree Lodge or Similar

Once settled into your accommodation you will have the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon game drive

Day 6: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro

Enjoy an early morning game drive through the park, taking the opportunity to explore the varying habitats that make up the park, including a stop along the lake shore (where you will undoubtedly encounter numerous bird species, including flamingos).

Morning Lodge activities
Your guide will help you explore the many diverse habitats of the park, stopping on the lake shore to admire the different bird species and look for pink flamingo. You will traverse a mosaic of acacia woodlands, grassy floodplains and tall forest in search of wildlife, including Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions and family herds of elephant.

After an early morning breakfast you will enjoy a transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater where you will spend two nights.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and arguably one of the world’s most magnificent natural features, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is named after the Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic crater that is home to abundant wildlife species (including elephant, leopard, lion, cheetah, rhino and buffalo). Offering unparalleled views of African wilderness, anytime spent at Ngorongoro will undoubtedly leave you speechless with wonder at the beauty of the African landscape.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

You will have the day to enjoy at your leisure, taking in a game drive through the grassy crater floor, where you will most likely encounter a variety of wildlife, both herbivores, predators and bird species.

Day 7: Ngorongoro

After breakfast you will have a transfer to Manyara airstrip from where you will embark on your homeward journey.
