Day 1: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will escort you to OR Tambo’s International Airport’s domestic terminal where you will catch your flight to the lodge, at the Kruger National Park.

Upon your arrival you will be transferred to the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve (which flanks the Kruger National Park) where you will stay at the luxurious

Inyati Game Lodge***** 

Accommodation is on a Full Board Basis + Lodge activities

Once settled into your lodge accommodation, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive, accompanied by qualified and trained guides and game rangers. You will no doubt encounter some of the following mighty park residents: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo and many more.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

You will have these days to enjoy the authentic African bush and safari experience at Sabi Sabi, best known for its superior sightings of the elusive African leopard. Morning and afternoon game drives are highly recommended, and will be accompanied by expert guides, rangers and trackers, making sure your wildlife adventures in Africa not only live up to your expectations, but greatly exceed them.

Kruger National Park– Mozambique Island

You will be transferred to the nearby Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, from where you will catch your flight to Vilanculos International Airport in Mozambique.

Upon your arrival at Vilanculos International Airport, you will be assisted to your transfer to Rio Azul Lodge.

Rio Azul Lodge is situated on the Northern end of the Bazaruto Archipelago at the mouth of the pristine Govuro River which enters the sea at Bartholomew Dias. Guests enjoy a scenic 1 ½ hours road transfer from Vilancoulos before reaching this private beach haven.

The lodge faces west and enjoys spectacular sunsets in a quiet and peaceful setting of your own personal paradise. The setting is ideal for honeymoons, romantic holidays, family holidays, fishing holidays and of course beach holidays. Excellent fishing and bird watching opportunities wait, as well as kayaking, snorkelling and boating to name a few of the lodge beach holiday activities.

You will have these days to enjoy at your leisure and partake in some of the lodge’s unforgettable activities and adventures.

Day 7: Mozambique – Johannesburg

After breakfast, you will depart your island paradise on your transfer to Vilanculos International Airport, from where you will catch your scheduled flight to OR Tambo International Airport.

The largest city in South Africa, Johannesburg offers its visitors a truly African city adventure. With a rich cultural, economic and political history, Jo’burg or Jozi (as you’re sure to hear locals call it) has something to delight every traveler. Fascinating cultural encounters, a buzzing nightlife and restaurant scene and some of the best shopping on African soil are just some of the experiences you’re bound to enjoy while discovering this powerhouse of African economic centres.

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Day 8: Johannesburg – Cape Town

Morning Johannesburg City Tour

You will have the morning to explore Johannesburg on a morning city tour. Some of the highlights of this sprawling South African metropolis include the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the historic city centre and fascinating Museum Africa complex, as well as the Nelson Mandela Bridge and Nelson Mandela’s last residence in the leafy and upmarket suburb of Houghton.

Once your tour of Johannesburg comes to an end you will be transferred to OR Tambo International Airport to catch your flight to Cape Town.

Frequently voted as one of the world’s top travel destinations, Cape Town is a stunningly beautiful city on the southwestern tip of the African continent. With a diverse array of sights and attractions, there’s something for everyone in the Mother City, as Cape Town locals call their hometown. From the gorgeous white sand beaches that hug the city’s mountainous coastline to the vibrant shopping mecca at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, your time in Cape Town will undoubtedly leave you with countless fond memories.

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Travel Republic Africa, who will accompany you on your transfer to the hotel of your choice:

Afternoon City & Table Mountain Tour

Once settled into your hotel, your first day in Cape Town will include a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting), the iconic peak that towers above Cape Town city centre and that was recently named one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Atop the impressive natural formation you will enjoy unparalleled views of Cape Town, Table and False Bays, Robben Island and with good visibility the entire Cape Peninsula all the way to Cape Point. The rest of your day will be spent exploring the many attractions and points of interest to be found in and around Cape Town’s city centre, including Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope, the South African Museum and the vibrant market at Greenmarket Square, where you will be able to find a treasure trove of African arts, crafts and souvenirs.

Day 9: Cape Town 

Full Day Cape Point Tour

Your next day in Cape Town will see you making the journey along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay towards the quaint fishing harbour town of Hout Bay. Here you will enjoy gorgeous mountain and ocean views and a boat trip to see the Cape Fur Seal colony at Seal Island (weather permitting).

From Hout Bay you will travel along Chapman’s Peak drive, arguably one of the world’s most breathtakingly beautiful coastal drives, towards the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, a magnificent section of the Table Mountain National Park that boasts an impressive array of flora and fauna, including the unique and endemic fynbos floral kingdom as well as large numbers of animal and bird species. No trip to Cape Point would be complete without visiting the historic lighthouses that are perched on the tip of the Cape Peninsula, offering awe-inspiring vistas.

After lunch at a nearby restaurant in Simon’s Town, you will visit the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Day 10-11: Cape Town

You will have these days to enjoy at your leisure or book additional tours such as: Winelands Tour,White Shark Cage Diving, Helicopter Tour, and many more.
