Visit the incredible seal colony at Cape Cross on the Skeleton Coast of Namibia – a trip worth including in your African holiday plans!

Cape Cross is a protected area owned by the government of Namibia under the name Cape Cross Seal Reserve. It is one of the largest breeding seal colonies in southern Africa, fluctuating in numbers of about between 80 000 – 300 000 seals.

One of the splendors of the site is the replica of Diego Cao’s cross marking his voyage and honour to King João II. Your experienced guide will give you detailed explanations of the seal colony while highlighting the historic endeavours of early settlers, who mined guano and harvested seals here.

After the tour guests will return to Swakopmund.
This four hour tour has both a morning (09.00) and afternoon (13.00) departure.
